Wir sind Berliners
Berlin, after a long time the city we both wanted to see. And as we’re almost done with our trip, we’re getting much more relaxed in comparison with just week ago. We are almost able to joke with each other again. We don’t have much money left, though, so we’re mostly hanging around, considering every Euro, spent for the gallery ticket.

Disappointment in Prague
I’m supposed to pick up PJ in Bratislava. Again, I don’t have to hitchhike so I’m taking a bus. Oddly enough, PJ’s rather glad to see me.  The trip to Prague is one smooth ride. But the city center is jammed with people again. Why all tourists share the need of visiting same places at the same time?

Sweetness of loneliness
Since I went to Budapest on my own, I didn’t have to pretend I enjoy hitchhiking and I took a train. I wouldn’t dare to hitchhike on my own anyway. Finally had a little time to read that book I bought in Ljubljana.

Impressions of Graz
PJ wanted to see Graz so badly that we even got off the car that could have taken us all the way to Vienna.  She got all excited about the most ordinary things such as trams in the streets and flowers in windows, with her feet barely touching the sidewalk. I finally got a glimpse of what was going on when she started talking about that book she had finished reading two weeks ago and whose story was set to Graz.

Friendly Slovenia
After a while, we’re getting farther away from the coast. From Trieste, the old lady gave us a ride. She realized soon that she liked us so much that we had to meet her family. And you can’t say NO to an old lady who gives you a ride. Meeting her family was great. We weren’t apparently the first hitchhikers invited into this family in its history. Therefore, everybody knew what to do. We had a great lunch and only because our busy schedule we had to refused to spend a night there and we set off to Ljubljana.
